My kids are obsessed with their blankies. They take them wherever they go. They even try to take them to school but I have to persuade them to leave them in the car. And then if I pick them up and I don't have the blankies you should hear the protesting. But here's the thing. Blankies get dirty. My little girl's blankie was made by a friend so it can't be replaced. My son's blankie I bought on clearance at Walmart when he was born and I didn't think he would become so attached to it, so I didn't buy two! So when Blankie has to be washed or is misplaced for a little while I need something to fill in! And the kids are getting older. I don't want to take away their blankies but I do want them to graduate to something newer and more stylish. Yes I know. Only a mom would say that...hehehe.

Luca Charles Soussan was born on the 23^rd of September in 2002. Shortly after his birth, Luca Charles was diagnosed with a skin condition commonly known as Eczema, as well as Asthma. Due to his condition, his father, Serge Soussan, who has been in the fashion industry, as a designer for over 20 years, was inspired to introduce a line of hypoallergenic organic fabrics to accommodate Luca and others who share the same condition. Inspired by his son, this line of hypoallergenic organic fabrics soon developed into a new collection of baby clothing, known as Luca Charles, so smooth and soft to the touch that soon became popular among new mothers who want to offer their baby’s skin the best comfort.

When you’re expecting, there are so many things to think about, what colour you’re going to decorate the nursery, which spectacular buggy or travel system you’re going to purchase and how many nappies of which size are you going to need. One thing that might not be at the front of your mind are comforting baby blankets and bedding. Most people are bought these kinds of items by friends and family as gift, so you tend not to think about them.

Baby blankets are very important accessories to have for your new born. They can be used in a number of ways, from wrapping them up when you’re out and about, using as a cover to keep them warm whilst sleeping or just even laying them on, a soft blanket so they can have a stretch.

Every baby has to have a "special" blanket. When my first daughter was born, I was blessed to receive 5-6 blankets that were special for her, but when I had my second baby that was 1 thing I didn't receive. I am not sure if people thought that either I had already had enough from my first, or that because she was a summer baby that she wouldn't need one. Either way, Every baby needs a blanket.
